Before the moment arrives

$1 trillion. The wealth expected to move to a new generation of Gulf families before the end of this decade.

Much of that wealth comes from businesses and family arrangements that were never organised around a single decision-maker to begin with. Safa Wealth exists to give those families a place to make decisions before circumstances force the issue, and someone who already understands a family's complete position when the moment to decide arrives.

How the firm works

We do not replace a family's existing advisers. We work alongside them.

  • What stays the same: the family's bank and its lawyers.
  • What we add: one place where every instruction is coordinated, and every party works from the same information.

Family members remain the ones who decide. Safa Wealth's task is to make sure each decision draws on everything relevant, gathered from across the professionals that are already involved.

How the relationship begins

Introduction. Someone who already knows the family, often a banker or lawyer they have worked with for years, suggests the first conversation. Sharing the details of a family's finances and its internal arrangements takes a degree of trust that a first meeting cannot establish on its own.

Before any advice. The first months go into compiling a complete record of a family's holdings and existing obligations, most of which has usually never been gathered into one place before.

Operating from the DIFC

Base
Dubai International Financial Centre
Legal system
English common law
Regulator
Independent of onshore UAE authorities

That framework gives international families a legal environment they can recognise from other financial centres, which matters when a family's trusts or foundations are registered abroad as well.

The people behind the advice

None of Safa Wealth's senior professionals hold a client relationship anywhere else.

That single fact determines who we hire. Most come from private banking or trust and estate law, and each joins us on the understanding that the families we advise are the only ones we will work for.
